The journey to find the smoothest fabric started long before we launched. It was clear from the start that we wanted the most incredibly soft fabric for children. So, we tested everything—stretching, crushing, and throwing fabrics across the room (don’t worry, they survived… mostly). But how do you find the best? You recruit the toughest critics around: kids. Armed with their unfiltered opinions (not always the most comfortable moment when your 8-year-old coworker weighs in during supplier meetings…), we tried fabric after fabric.
The verdict? Modal. Hands down, it stood out as the softest, gentlest option—exactly what we wanted for your children.
Lenzing’s responsible production of TENCEL™ Modal fibers uses at least 50% less water and emits at least 50% less greenhouse gas (GHG) compared to generic lyocell and modal fibers, according to Higg MSI*, thereby saving precious resources for future generations.
